Tool-Specific Questions
Online Clock
Is the online clock more accurate than my computer clock?
The online clock displays time based on your browser's system time. For more precise timing, use the Server Time page, which syncs with NTP servers for accurate time regardless of your local clock settings.
Stopwatch
Can I use stopwatch lap records in Excel or other programs?
Yes, you can export lap records in CSV format. CSV files can be opened directly in Excel, Google Sheets, and other spreadsheet apps for analysis.
Timer
What's the difference between Timer, Pomodoro, Interval, and Multi-Timer?
The basic Timer is a general-purpose countdown tool. Pomodoro auto-cycles 25min focus/5min break sessions. Interval Timer is for workout routines with repeating rounds. Multi-Timer lets you run multiple timers simultaneously.
Pomodoro
How is the Pomodoro technique different from a regular timer?
A regular timer simply counts down, but Pomodoro automatically cycles through 'focus → break → focus' and tracks session statistics. It's a scientifically proven time management method that prevents focus fatigue during long work sessions.
Alarm
Can I receive vibration-only alerts instead of sound?
Yes, you can turn off sound and enable vibration only in alarm settings. Vibration works on mobile devices with touchscreen support. This is useful in quiet environments.
Server Time
How do I use the Server Time page for ticketing?
Set the ticketing start time and you'll see an accurate countdown based on NTP server time. You can also check the real-time offset from your computer's clock, helping you click at precisely the right moment.
D-Day Counter
Can I add D-Day events to my calendar?
Yes, each D-Day entry can be exported as an ICS file. Import the file into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or other calendar apps to receive reminders.
Technical Questions
Which browsers are supported?
Works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported.
What is a PWA?
PWA stands for Progressive Web App — a technology that lets you install a website on your smartphone or PC and use it like a native app. You can install it using your browser's 'Add to Home Screen' feature.
Can I use it offline?
If installed as a PWA, most features work offline except for those requiring network access like server time.
Sound is not working on mobile.
On iOS Safari, sound plays only after user interaction (screen touch). Make sure silent mode is off and check your volume.
How do I enable dark mode?
Click the settings icon in the top right to toggle between light and dark mode themes.
